There are many kinds of 201 material,like J1,J2,J3,J4. As the chemical compositions are different,it have different mechanical properties,lower carbon and higher copper can make material with better extensibility. Now let us check the compositons first.   We can know this: Copper: J4 > J1 > J3> J2 Carbon: J2 >J3> J1>J4   For the purpose of saving money,customers often purchase cheap J2 materials.So can J2 material be used for machining? We take the 1.2mm thickness J2 to bend in different shapes to test:   First,make a Tile Trim Border without V cut. Check the red area,the edge is good,no hurting.   But there are some crack in the corner.Let we check another side:   There is no crack in this side.   Then we make another Tile Metal Trim with V cut,to check if there is any crack in th corner. This Curved Tile Trim side corner is good.   Small cracks in this side.   Let us make another tile trim that can be used as elevator frame.     No crack in both side Tile Profile Trim corners or edges.   So we can make conclusion like this: 1.Using 201 J2 stainless steel make tile trim,the edge is good. 2.There will be some cracks in the corner.No mater V cut or without V cut. 3.If the corner no need high request,can be use J2 material to make stainless steel tile trim.
